Beer Health Benefits: 6 Good Reasons to Drink Beer

Here are 10 reasons why, if consumed in moderation, beer is not actually bad for you. Please be aware that this is not a recommendation to drink, especially if you abstain from alcohol or have a medical problem.

A) Alcoholics live longer:- Beer is good for moderate drinking, which is healthy for your health. Everyone is aware that excessive drinking is bad for you. Let's be blunt: If you drink, you run into things, drive into things, acquire cirrhosis, esophageal cancer, and other unpleasant conditions. However, a growing body of medical research suggests that abstaining from alcohol altogether is also bad for you. Numerous unbiased research have found that moderate drinkers outlive heavy drinkers and teetotalers. Due to its higher volume compared to wine or spirits and lower alcohol level, beer is ideal for moderate drinking. Thomas Jefferson, a former radical, once claimed that moderate beer consumption softens the heart.

B) Beer is organic:

Some elitists will claim that beer contains a tonne of additives and preservatives. The fact is that beer is just as natural as milk or orange juice (maybe even more so – some of those milk & OJ labels will surprise you). Because beer contains alcohol and hops, two naturally occurring preservatives, it doesn't require preservatives. Only in the sense that bread is "processed," i.e. after being cooked and fermented, filtered, and packed, is beer considered to be "processed." The same is true with Heineken.

C) Beer has no fat or cholesterol, few calories, and few carbohydrates:-

Beer has some extremely low-calorie possibilities for a 100% natural beverage. A 12-ounce serving of Guinness has roughly 125 calories, which is the same as a 12-ounce serving of skim milk. That is roughly equivalent to your typical, "full-calorie" beer and less caloric than orange juice (150 calories). You would need to consume one beer each hour of waking time if beer were your main source of sustenance in order to consume the appropriate number of calories per day (2,000 to 2,500). And nobody is advising you to consume that many. Only basic tea, black coffee, and water are natural beverages that have fewer calories than beer. Beer must include a lot of those fattening carbohydrates, right? Mistake again.

Each 12-ounce serving of beer typically contains 12 grammes of carbohydrates. In a typical 2,000-calorie diet, 300 grammes of carbohydrates constitute the U.S. Recommended Daily Allowance. In other words, in order to consume the recommended daily amount of carbohydrates, you would have to consume a whole 24-pack case of beer, followed by a second case. If you wish to carbo-load, you should consume an apple or some soda. Each has three times as many carbohydrates as a beer, or roughly 35 to 40 grammes. Beer is also free of cholesterol and fat.

D) Beer reduces cholesterol:

Not only does beer not contain cholesterol, but it also helps to lower cholesterol levels. In fact, moderate beer consumption on a regular basis will favourably affect your HDL/LDL cholesterol ratios. You have two types of cholesterol in your body: LDL, the "bad" cholesterol that clogs your veins like sludge in a bathtub drain, and HDL, the "good" cholesterol that armor-plates your veins and keeps things flowing. Beer maintains the HDL levels high and power-flushes the system. Some studies claim that drinking just one beer each day can increase your HDL by up to 4%.

E) Beer is a relaxant:

Drinking in moderation has clear health benefits on a social level. In other words, to occasionally go out and unwind with your friends over a few beers.

F) There are many B vitamins in beer:

Despite years of denial by various anti-alcohol organisations, beer, especially unfiltered or barely filtered beer, turns out to be quite nutritious. High quantities of B vitamins, especially folic acid, which is thought to help prevent heart attacks, can be found in beer. Additionally, beer contains soluble fibre, which helps keep you regular and lowers the possibility that your body will absorb undesirable substances like fat. In case you were intending on plating your stomach with metal, beer also contains considerable amounts of magnesium and potassium
