Bangladesh prevails in a nail-biting match despite Rohit Sharma's valiant effort #2ndODI INDvsBAN

While fielding, the India skipper was struck on his left hand. Sen has a stiff back, while Chahar has a stiff hamstring.

Due to their injuries, Rohit Sharma, Deepak Chahar, and Kuldeep Sen will not play in the third One-Day International against Bangladesh. During the second ODI, Rohit was fielding in the slips when he was struck on the left thumb. He had sutures in his hand when he stepped out to bat at No. 9, but he is questionable for the upcoming test series, which starts on December 14 and is a part of the World Test Championship.

At the post-game presentation, Rohit stated, "It [the thumb] is not that fantastic. "The finger had a small amount of dislocation and needed several stitches. Because it's not broken, which is fortunate and a good thing, I was able to come out and bat.

Virat Kohli moved up to partner Shikhar Dhawan at the top of the order, therefore Rohit did not start the innings either. At No. 9, with India needing 65 to win from 44 balls, he eventually entered the game. He added six runs off of 15 deliveries for the eighth wicket with Chahar, who came in at No. 8 but didn't appear to be at full strength, when Ebadot Hossain dismissed Chahar.

However, Rohit continued to attack and smash boundaries, which reduced the situation to 12 needed off of three balls, and then six off of the final delivery. However, Mustafizur Rahman smashed the yorker to give Bangladesh the victory and the series. Rohit scored 51 runs off 28 balls, remaining unbeaten, with three fours and five sixes.

Dravid praised the innings, saying, "It was magnificent." "For him to exhibit that degree of bravery, in my opinion. He needed to go to the hospital to have a significant dislocation fixed, stitches in his hand, and a few injections before he could resume playing baseball. Credit to him; he was adamant about trying, and taking a chance, and it's amazing how close he got us with that innings. The skipper had an outstanding performance. It took a lot of bravery for you to take a chance on us."
